The construction fence is up and we are asking families not to walk around the back of the building. Students in grades K, 1, 3 may enter at the second-grade door (#10) and walk to their classrooms through the building. Students in K, parent drop-off has moved to the front of the building door # 18. Students may enter the front doors beginning at 8:40, and wait until 8:45 when they can walk right to their rooms. Ask your child's teacher or contact the main office for more information.

Important Safety Message for Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Please do not park on the far side of Kingston Rd for morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up. We are noticing an increase in families doing so and crossing in front of traffic coming down Kingston Rd. Please use the commuter line for drop-off and pick-up (curbside exit and entrance). Kindergarten parents are asked to park on Sheffield, King George or Kingston Dr.Please demonstrate patience, courteous and safe driving during the hectic process of dropping-off and picking-up. We had a motor vehicle accident in the commuter line recently, please drive carefully.

Dr. Morton Testifies Before Senate and Education Committee and Assembly Budget Committee Regarding State Funding Cuts
Acting Superintendent Dr. Kwame Morton on Thursday, March 14, 2024, testified before the NJ Senate Education Committee regarding the drastic cut in state funds for the Cherry Hill Public School District. His statement is available online.
Dr. Morton testified on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, before the NJ Assembly Budget Committee on the same topic, with a new message, which is also available online.

Board Approves Sending Superintendent Contract to Executive County Superintendent for Approval
The Board of Education on March 12, 2024, authorized its solicitor to submit the Superintendent Contract, naming Dr. Kwame Morton, to the Executive County Superintendent for approval. Upon approval from the Executive County Superintendent, the Board will vote on Dr. Morton's appointment as superintendent at a future Board of Education meeting. Stay tuned for the announcement of that meeting date.
