Principal's Updates

September 6, 2016

Dear Kingston School Community,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! It is great to be Principal of Kingston Elementary School, I am looking forward to a wonderful year.

As a Cherry Hill resident, parent of students in the district and an educator, I want Kingston Elementary to continue to shine as a great place to learn and grow. Throughout the school year, I will always encourage your children to work hard and persevere in their learning, while also enjoying school.

This summer at Kingston was a busy one, and we had the important job of hiring several new teachers. We are pleased to welcome several new members to our Kingston Family:

Karin Davis Occupational Therapist

Stefanie Eglin Kilmer/Kingston Special Education

Lori Ferranto PE (Transfer from West)

Lauren Giordano Grade 5 Special Education (Transfer from West)

Barbara Ross Grade 5 English Language Arts (Transfer from Beck)

Maryrose Ruggieri Grade 5 English Language Arts (Transfer from Rosa)

Lisa Sadowski Library/TAG covering Mrs. Sutton’s Maternity

Danielle Watson Educational Assistant

This year, as a school, we will be focusing on positive behavior, teaching appropriate behavior and offering children reinforcing praise as they make good decisions throughout the school day. No doubt you will hear your child talk about having the opportunity to, “Clip Up,” on the classroom behavior chart for making good decisions and displaying appropriate behaviors. Hopefully there will be few times when we ask you to help your child reflect on how they can make better decisions in the classroom, on the playground or in the hallway. Together we hope to continue to build a great school community, and help your child grow into a responsible, caring, intelligent young adult.

Please continue to help make Kingston a great school by making strong connections with your child’s teachers, counselor, our nurse, and amazing support staff. Support the Kingston PTA with your time, talents and when possible money. Together we can help ensure that your child receives a world class education, becomes a life-long learner and enjoys the process. Be sure to follow me on twitter PrincipalMarble@KingstonES1955, and sign up to receive text message alerts from the school by sending @kingstones to 81010 .

Sincerely,

William C. Marble, Ed.D.
Principal
